Below are just a few ideas on how you can help us behind the scenes.
Poster Making
We advertise our dogs online at www.rescuealabrador.com and Pet Rescue. We would love to put up posters advertising each individual dog and put them up on community noticeboards but we haven't had the time to do this. If you would like to create some posters please contact us.
It could be a great activity for kids in school holidays!
Fencing
Labradors are extremely smart dogs, which means that when they start escaping, it's very hard to keep them in. Our most difficult dogs to foster by far are the escape artists. If you are handy at fencing and don't mind donating some time and goods putting up some inescapable fences please let us know!
Graphic Designers
Lab Rescue would love to raise some funds by creating its own online shop. We would love to get some help designing t-shirts, calendars, baby clothes etc. It would raise awareness and raise funds. If you have some talent in designing paraphernalia, or you just like drawing labs, please get in contact.
Photographers
Are you handy with a camera? Would you like to increase your portfolio by donating some time to Lab Rescue? As you can see we depend on photos to capture the character of our dogs. If you would like to donate some time by taking photos of our dogs, we can use those photos to advertise our dogs online. Capturing a good photo is critical to the rehoming process.
