Lucia's owners emailed us over the new year with an update. It had such a funny picture in it, I just have to share it!
Apparently Lucia's learnt how to loop herself into the seat belt when in the car, how clever! Very sensible of you!

Here's Gregi's update on Lucia:
Hi Linda
I'm sending you the latest of the approximately two hundred photos we have of Lucia from our seven months with her. Here she is an a friend's car where she managed to place herself unassisted behind the seat-belt. She is such a joy to take anywhere, something my other girls were not always as they were very excitable and much bigger too.
She hasn't taken to swimming at the beach yet as a friend tried to coax her into the water. Next time I'll go in too and as she follows Mummy anywhere I think I'll get her to swim.
Thank you so much Linda for Lucia. She was a perfect match for me. Also everyone who gets to know her a little Is won over by her gentle nature and her affectionate personality and her little eccentricities, like the grunting when she's excited and the loud snoring during her frequent sleeps. She's pretty lazy overall and doesn't overly exert herself except on a walk, but she is such an easy dog in every sense except that she always wants to be inside. Even then she rarely protests at being outside, though she does have a vicous-sounding deep bark when someone rings the doorbell. If there's a storm though her whole body trembles and her legs even jerk sometimes too. It's pathetically sad at the time.
And Linda I really loved Lab Rescue's email with the happy endings and those on the website too. Great news about Harry! You all do such a fantastic job. Thank you.
Hope you had a great Christmas and New Year.
Regards
Gregi
